PRATT & LAMBERT PAINTS The Quality Advantage... in Architectural Finishes Since 1849 PRODUCT INFORMATION Enducryl Acrylic Maintenance Enamel (Z29-line) Enducryl is a 100% acrylic maintenance enamel formulated for industrial use to be lead and chromate free. It is VOC compliant in most areas and is designed for use where exterior gloss and color aesthetics are of prime importance. Enducryl is formulated for use on interior or exterior surfaces in mild-to-moderate environments. It can be applied over properly prepared galvanized metal, aluminum, masonry and properly prepared steel surfaces. Enducryl will provide a corrosion resistant coating for maintenance and capital structures where long-term life is expected. It exhibits excellent water resistance, gloss and color retention on normal urban or rural exposures. Ordering: Available in 1 gallon containers. Base 1 available in 5 and 1 gallon containers. Technical Data TYPE: 100% acrylic Resin COMPONENTS: one COLORS: White, Black, safety colors, and 3 tinting bases. GLOSS: high FLASH POINT: n/a VOC: Maximum 2.08 Ibs/gal (250g/1) SOLIDS BY VOLUME: 32.0% +/-2% RECOMMENDED FILM THICKNESS: 1.5 - 2.0 dry mils/coat SPREADING RATE: 341 square feet per gallon to achieve minimum recommended dry film. SURFACE PREPARATION: Surface must be dry and clean. Remove oil, grease, loose rust or other contaminants to ensure good adhesion. FERROUS STEEL--SSPC-SP 2 or 3, minimum; SSPC-SP optimum. ALUMlNUM--Clean surface, prime with TECH-GARD Latex Metal Primer (Zl90). GALVANIZED--Should he exterior weathered for 6 months prior to painting then prime with Zl90. New galvanized may be painted immediately when primed with Pretreatment Primer S3697. MIXING: Stir thoroughly prior to use. POT LIFE: n/a SHELF LIFE: 2 years APPLICATION: Conventional or airless spray, brush or roller. DRYING TIME @77°F(25°C): Set to touch l hr. Dry to re-coat 4 hrs. PRIMERS: Tech-gard Acrylic Metal Primer (Zl90) or any Pratt & Lambert alkyd primer. THINNING: Not normally required. If necessary, use water.
